Tons of votes= A Scholarship!
The Great Draw Street Art Competition was created by Connie Twining and Stormy Mochal of Outside the Lines Art Gallery as a way to create a much needed high school visual artists scholarship in Dubuque.
Family, friends, and visitors of the competition will be encouraged to purchase votes to be given to their favorite street painting(s). All money collected through votes will be used to fund the scholarship. Outside the Lines Art Gallery is also donating 10% the day’s sales to the scholarship fund.
The 2012 scholarship will be given to a deserving visual art student from Dubuque Senior High School who is pursuing the visual arts following high school graduation. They will be required to submit a short application and to present a portfolio. For more information please contact us!
